A: My previous band opened for them on a short 2 week tour, ended up building a good relationship with the guys, the drumming position opened up a few weeks later, auditioned, and here I am.

A: Took drum lessons from Paul Riddle (original drummer of Marshall Tucker Band) when I was a kid to learn the basics. I also was in my Middle School band then went on the march Drum Line in High School.
